Japanese Food - JR Osaka Station, Tenjinbashisuji Street, Oasis and another supermarket in Osaka

¥100 = RM3.80

Osaka
Since restaurants open mid-morning, the only places you could find breakfast are at convenient stores and mini-markets. Besides 7-11, FamilyMart and Lawson, there were mini-markets like Oasis selling instant meals. During lunch hours, you would find lots of Japanese at the ready-to-eat sections buying bento lunches, etc at the supermarkets in shopping malls.

JR Osaka Station

The bun was a little dry but otherwise, good. ¥198. 7/10
I first saw 551 Horai at Kyoto Station. There was a perpetual long queue there. At this stall at JR Osaka Station, there was no queue. There were two other 551 Horai in Osaka that I saw, both without long lines of people.

The Siu Mai was just average. ¥390. I would just give it a 7/10
Tenjinbashisuji Street

This is Tenjinbashi-suji 6-Chome entrance to Tenjnbashisuji shopping street. It can be reached by taking Exit 8 (beside McDonald's) of Tenjinbashi-suji 6-Chome Station on the Tanimachi Metro Line
At the other end of Tenjinbashisuji street is Tenjinbashi-suji 1-Chome entrance

I love those korroke. Cheap and taste so good. 8/10

This Japanese sausage was ok, but PNG and Taiwanese's were better. 7/10

Dotonbori was famous for the Takoyaki, the squid ball. Since I saw one here, I stopped by for set of 8 (minimum order)

The taste was ok but there was some kind of weird smell. It was laced with bbq sauce and mayonnaise and sprinkled with bonito flakes. 5/10. It was because of this smell that I did not bother to try a different version from Dotonbori

Just the normal taste of burger. 7/10. The Thai Samurai pork burger (in Bangkok) was so much better
Mini-rmarkets – Oasis and another joint

There was a very wide selection of food at Oasis in the morning. Fresh out of the frying pan

Very crispy and I enjoyed biting into it. Unfortunately, the taste was not as good as it looked, but still, I would give it 7/10

Yakitori from a mini-market along the way to Osaka Sinsei Guest House. It was not bad. 7/10

Siu Mai from the same mini-market. ¥298. Again, like Siu Mai from other shops, there was nothing special about this Siu Mai. 7/10
